In an attempt to get Berkley acclimated to water (since he is a water dog) we thought we would bring him over to our friends Dennis and Emily’s house who have a pool and two other dogs that love to swim. As you can see from the photos below that didn’t go over too well :( Every chance he got to run out the pool he went right under dads legs to hide. How pathetic and how cute all at the same time! But in all seriousness we want to help him love the water so if anyone has any tips for us please be sure to pass them along.
P.S. – I have to take a minute to apologize to Berkley because after looking back at my other Weekly Berkley photos I realized I have been in the habit of posting some not so flattering photos of him. So I promise next week’s photo will be “squeeze him till his eyes pop out” cute! :)

Be careful what you wish for, Kerry. Our non-water-dog (Buster, the Rhodesian Ridgeback) HATED the water until he fell into our friends' pool one summer. As you know, he is OBSESSED with it now, which would be fine if we could figure out what he's obsessing about! Berkley will come around in due time!!
